Got a C64 almost immediately after being born (with some short stops on a Atari 2600 and a VC20) and learned coding basic, assembly, sound and graphics the hard way. There was no internet where you can look up everything within seconds in the 80s, you had to use the sparse ressources from magazines from these days.
